Features
1)High tension,it's tension is three times as large as that of NN/EP rubber conveyor belt.
2)Short take-up travel for small elongation.
3)Good trough ability.Flexible and suitable for the idler with straight run.
4)Good performance,long service life.The single-layer structure,good resistance to flexural fatigue and strong rubber adhesion to the steel cords enable the ST conveyor belts to run at a higher speed than fabric belts.
5)Strong splice,excellent splice efficiency can be obtained by the overlap splicing method.
6)Internal inspection possible.Any damage can be identified though methods such as X-ray photography and to take appropriate measures.
7)Cover rubber,filled with ST or fiber,the rip resistance improved.
Steel Cord Conveyor Belt consists of:
•Steel cords: steel cords at certain arrangement which become the main tension holder of belt. Special high carbon content steel strand cords with special heat treatment, which makes the cord highly resistant to breakage and repeated dynamic stresses as well as highly flexible. Warp cords are galvanized and fully embedded in rubber. Twist cord alternating right and left hand to ensure the belt go straightly.
•Rubber Cover: top rubber cover+ bottom rubber cover, protect the carcass from abrasion, impact, water and other injurious influence
•Core rubber: special rubber layer with good steel cord adhesion properties
•Ripstop or transverse reinforcement: one or two steel breaker
