Cold Resistant Conveyor Belt

We offer cold resistant conveyor belts which offer rubber cover grades specifically engineered to function without difficulty in some of the coldest operating environments known to man.

Usage

Fabric cord resistant conveyor belts are suitable for conveying materials outdoors in freezing area, cold storage and etc.

 

Characteristics

The product selects nylon canvas or EP canvas as carcass. Cover rubber selects a blend of NR and BR, which has the properties of high elasticity, shock resistance, cold resistance and etc. It can work normally under the conditions of -60oC.

 
The carcass of the cold resistant conveyor belts consists of a of polyester (nylon) fabric, cotton  and terylene or only cotton etc. By adopting rubber layers with lower temperature resisance this Cold Resistant conveyor Belt can retain its outstanding strength and elasticity, as well as impact strength even down to -40 - - 60 degrees Celsius. The cold resistant conveyor belt is produced by forming and rubber vulcanization.

 

Cold resistant conveyor belts are usually installed for two purposes:

• For conveying materials outdoors in freezing area
• For conveying materials to cold storage

Cold Resistant Conveyor Belts can be divided into two major types:

Depending on the specifications of the top cover, our cold resistant conveyor belts can be classified into three types, including tear resistant type (H), anti-abrasion type (D), and ordinary type (L). 

According to different cold resistance, it can be divided into two types: C1 and C2. C1-working temperature:-45~+50ºC; C2-working temperature: -60~ +50ºC.
