COVERS
Zhenxing Covers are precision-engineered rubber layers applied to both the top and bottom surfaces of the belt carcass.
We place strong emphasis on selecting the appropriate cover grade, quality, and thickness, as these elements are directly linked to the overall durability and lifespan of the conveyor belt.
The specific rubber compound used in a belt cover is determined by the type of material being transported and the operational environment in which the belt will function.
Covers can also be produced with textured surfaces or specialized profiles to prevent material rollback on steep inclines.
TOP COVER RUBBER
The primary role of the top rubber cover is to shield the carcass and enhance the belt's longevity.

BOTTOM RUBBER COVER
The Zhenxing bottom rubber cover is designed with high abrasion resistance, as this layer is in continuous contact with pulleys and plays a key role in power transmission.
It is also available in specially developed low rolling resistance compounds, which help reduce the energy or power required to operate the belt, contributing to more efficient and sustainable system performance.
CARCASS:
The carcass is the backbone of a conveyor belt and serves as its primary load-bearing component. The integrated fabric reinforcement found within conveyor belts is commonly referred to as the "carcass."
At Zhenxing Belts, we manufacture carcasses in our advanced calendaring and belt-building facilities, ensuring they fulfill the following essential functions during conveyor operation:
Provide tensile strength to drive the loaded belt.
Absorb the impact of materials being dropped onto the belt.
Offer the necessary bulk and lateral stiffness to support the load.
Deliver sufficient strength for mechanical fastening and hot/cold splicing.
SKIM RUBBER LAYER
Skim rubber is a thin, specially formulated layer composed of high-adhesion polymer compounds and additives. It plays a vital role in delivering superior bonding strength between the fabric plies and between the skim layers across both the length and width of the belt.
For demanding applications, we have developed customized skim rubber compounds with properties such as resistance to heat, fire, oil, and chemicals-while maintaining excellent adhesion, which is critical for optimal carcass performance.
