Type:
The product is made of cotton canvas, nylon canvas or EP canvas and finished through the processes of pressing, shaping, vulcanizing and etc. It is suitable for transporting oily materials.
1. It can be divided into two types according to the characteristics of the cover; Anti-abrasive type(D) and Ordinary type (L).
2. According to different oil resistance, it falls into two type of Y1 and Y2.

Characteristic
Oil resistant type/conveyor belt carries parts and components coated with machine oil, heavy-oil treated coal in cooking plants and electric power generating plants, soybean draff, fish meat and other oily materials. Materials containing non-polar organic solvents and fuel. Oil resistant conveyor belt compounded of oil resistant synthetic rubber with good resistance to the damaging effects encountered when conveying oil contaminated or treated materials. The oil resistance of rubber conveyor belt refers to the ability of rubber vulcanizates to resist oil turbidity. When the surface of the rubber conveyor belt is in contact with various oils within a certain temperature range for a long time, the oil may penetrate into the rubber, causing volume increase and swelling. At the same time, the oil medium may react from the soluble compounding agents (mainly low molecular weight plasticizers) in the conveyor belt, resulting in a reduction in volume (shrinkage). The two are a dynamic balancing process. Usually the degree of swelling or shrinking increases with the contact time between the surface of the rubber conveyor belt and the oil, until the volume change reaches equilibrium. The higher the temperature, the shorter the time required to reach volume equilibrium. In addition, some additives in oil products may chemically react with rubber molecules, causing cross-linking or degradation of rubber.
 

 

NBR is a commonly used oil-resistant rubber, and its oil resistance increases with the increase of acrylonitrile content. NBR with high acrylonitrile content has better resistance to mineral oil, but its heat resistance is limited. When the oil temperature exceeds 150 ° C, HNBR, FPM, FVMQ or ACM should be used.

 

Application

Oil resistant tape/conveyor belt has good oil resistance and organic solvent resistance. It is fit for carrying materials including oil and organic solvent. T is used to convey chemicals, pulp, pottery, foodstuff, fertilizer and when drugs are attached to the conveyed material. Accordig to the conveyed material or the kind of drug attached to the conveyed material, acid-proof or alkali-proof cover rubber should be selected.
